The Re-Enactment of the
Civil War Battle at Philadelphia

In the fall of 1863, during the American Civil War, a fierce battle was fought near the little town of Philadelphia, Tennessee.  The Union army was completely defeated and many Yankees were captured.

In the fall of 2000, a re-enactment of the battle of Philadelphia was held.  Fortunately, the Confederate army won again!
